Super Blue Blood Moon - January 2018

Today the lunar eclipse, blue moon and the super moon phases coincided. The last super blue blood moon was in 1866.

There's lots of speculation in google search results about the astrological significance, spiritual significance, and impact on human physiology.

I came upon an interesting 'fact' that women simply get less sleep overall when there is a full moon: less deep sleep, less REM sleep, just more light, unrefreshing sleep. Not sure if data bears this out but it is certainly true for me these last few nights as my FitBit registered significantly less overall sleep. It would be interesting to analyze the big data now available to see if this holds true... all those fitbits on so many wrists, feeding up to the cloud.
...

January 31, 8:27 am the moon is full. There won't be a full moon in February this year. The last time a full-moonless February occurred was in 1997 and the next will be in 2037, so this calendrical oddity happens infrequently.
