Sydney Opera House! By the evening of our concert we'd passed the Opera House morning, afternoon and night. It always looked spectacular whatever the time of day. Now it was time to go inside. What a view, inside and out!
Inside Bennelong Restaurant was a feast for the senses. Service was beyond attentive, with at least five different staff coming to see to our needs. The cocktails were meticulously crafted. We enjoyed an Australian cheese and cracker pairing that was thoughtfully curated and perfectly plated. Once we were seated in the Concert Hall, with all that burnished wood, it was such a treat we hardly needed to see a performance. Nils Frohm took the stage and looked like the man in the machine, almost being swallowed up by the instruments surrounding him.
